Contemporary Bespoke Kitchen, Margate, Kent.

This Margate project demonstrates the impact of bespoke joinery in redefining a period home for contemporary living. Designed in collaboration with designer, Hannah Pemberton, the scheme balances architectural kitchen design integrity with bold modern detailing.

The central island, finished in the striking Malahide by Edward Bulmer with cut-out handles and flat-panel cabinetry, forms the focal point of the kitchen. Surrounding black joinery with brass accents introduces contrast and depth, while bespoke storage solutions ensure the space is as functional as it is visually distinctive.

Crafted to exacting standards, every cabinet, drawer, and hinge was tailored to the proportions of the room, ensuring seamless integration with the architecture. The result is a bespoke kitchen that unites traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design, offering a solution that architects, designers, and homeowners can all recognise as both practical and enduring. And, a beautiful modern accomplice for a stunning Arts and Crafts home in coastal Kent.

Modern kitchen with red island, black cabinets, white countertops, open layout, potted plants, colorful rug, pendant lighting, large window with view of greenery.
