Our Promises, Terms, and Conditions Estimates, Orders, and Payments
All initial estimates and draft design concepts are free and come with no obligations. Our estimates are valid for 30 days to give you time to decide. To proceed with further design refinements, we require a non-refundable £750.00 deposit, which is fully deductible from the final cost. This covers the time spent surveying, planning, and refining the designs. Once the design is fully agreed upon, a pre-production payment of 50% of the latest estimated cost is required to secure materials, appliances, and scheduling. Changes at this stage may be possible but could incur additional costs, which will be communicated and added to the next stage payment. The pre-production payment confirms the kitchen order and that designs, finishes, and measurements are correct and agreed upon. Orders are deemed accepted once confirmed by Collins Bespoke, forming a legally binding contract. Payment of the design deposit or pre-production deposit confirms your agreement to these terms and conditions. For installations by Collins Bespoke, the balance (minus £1000) is due 14 days before installation. Any necessary adjustments during installation will be communicated and may incur additional costs. The final balance is payable within 7 days of full completion. Any concerns must be raised within this period. Items remain the property of Collins Bespoke Limited until fully paid. Collins Bespoke reserves the right to charge interest and compensation for debt recovery under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, if payment terms are not met. Late payments will incur interest at 8% per annum, and 2.5% on total balances per calendar month. Unpaid balances will be referred for recovery after 28 days. Cabinetry Our handcrafted cabinetry is made from natural materials, so slight variations in finishes, grain patterns, and paint may occur. Natural products may expand or contract slightly but will usually settle over time. We advise installing cabinetry only in fully finished and weather-tight rooms to minimize movement. Slight variations in colour, texture, or dimensions within industry tolerances are considered acceptable and not grounds for rejection. Appliances We partner with select appliance providers to offer competitive pricing and reliability. If you supply your own appliances, we charge £72.00 per appliance for adjustments to ensure proper fit. If an appliance is unavailable before fitting, we will suggest an alternative, which may be priced differently. A templating appointment is required, and someone must be available to meet the templater. A £500.00 management fee applies if you supply your own stone worktop to cover design, templating, and liaising costs. Installation and Preparation The room must be dry and ideally fully prepared before installation. If installation is delayed, storage fees of up to £200 per week may apply. Cancellations within 14 days of installation may incur additional administration fees. Installation includes basic electrical and plumbing connections (e.g., plumbing taps, plugging in appliances). Any missing service requirements may incur a charge of up to £250 per adjustment. We are not responsible for damages once installation is completed and the ‘Customer Completion’ form is signed. Risk for the goods passes to the customer upon delivery, collection, or installation. Any concerns must be raised within 48 hours of final completion. Aftercare We provide an aftercare guide for maintaining your kitchen. Kitchens we install include a free 6-month snagging visit and a touch-up service before the kitchen's first anniversary. We will repair or replace defective goods free of charge if the defect arises from faulty design, materials, or workmanship, provided: - - Notice is given within 7 days of delivery (for supply-only orders) or within 6 months of installation. The customer has followed our maintenance instructions. This does not affect our on-going guarantee on all our manufacturing and finishing techniques. Where goods are manufactured by third parties, we will pass on any applicable warranties. Supply-Only Kitchens Full payment is required before delivery. Any issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. We are not responsible for any issues caused by third-party installation. Supply-only kitchens include an aftercare guide but do not qualify for our complimentary touch-up service or on-going guarantee.
