The days are getting shorter, children are back to school, and many of us are travelling to and from work again. With that in mind, whilst we all live our ‘new normal’ the best we can, we think it’s super important to enjoy home comforts more than ever. We all need that perfect welcome home after a day in the office or when the school run is over. Whether that be sliding into the fluffiest pair of slippers as soon as you walk through the door, being greeted by a furry friend, or asking Alexa to play your favourite Chill Out playlist, it’s good to know that your home is your safe place. A place to relax and unwind.
Here at Collins Bespoke, for many of our customers, coming home means being greeted by beautiful cabinetry. And, that’s not just in the kitchen. We’re seeing a rise in demand for boot rooms and entrance hall cabinetry, too!
Boot rooms beautifully connect the outdoors to the inside; and the handcrafted cabinetry is normally a glimpse of what’s to come in the rest of a home. Providing practical but pretty storage, and offering a place to sit down whilst taking off or putting on shoes, a boot room is the perfect way to be welcomed home.
Naturally, our boot rooms are thoroughly bespoke and cleverly designed to the requirements of our customers. A place to sit is essential, especially when taking off wellies after long autumnal walks or pumpkin picking. Our boot rooms can include drawers, which are great for storing scarfs, hats and gloves, or space for baskets to fill up with outdoor accessories!
Tall cabinetry helps to hide away bigger items like bulky coats, whilst hooks can hold everyday jackets!
If you’re a home interior enthusiast then boot rooms are such a good spot to style, too! Throw on some soft furnishings or add plants to dress it up (or down) as much as you like!
