I can’t actually believe it. I am typing this from my brand new desk, in our brand new office at our beautiful new Surrenden Manor Showroom. It feels so strange, but so, so good. I feel like I’ve just moved house and everything is really neat. My desk is so ordered and looks pretty with new stationary - I wonder how long that will last? It’s strange working and not hearing the sound of the workshop behind us. Instead, it’s just next door. Anyway, you’re not here to read about my desk and the excitement of a peaceful office, are you?

So, we did it. We are finally in. I know lots of you have been keeping up with our progress and willing us on, which we are really thankful for. It’s been quite the journey and, of course, we’ve had a little global pandemic to work around, no biggy. But, here we are. I feel so proud of our team. Especially Nick and Gem, who have worked so hard to get to this point. Hooray Team CB!

If you’ve watched my latest Instagram video, then you’d have seen we are just waiting on a few final touches before we can have our proper photoshoot. Our new stools will be arriving in the next few weeks and we’re still waiting for a tap to arrive, plus some appliances. I’ve got a few more accessories coming in the post (which always feels like Christmas) and our walk-in pantry is just awaiting it’s shelves. Oh, plus the Beaded-Shaker table. But other than that, we’re there. We are all so happy! We’re in.

I thought it might be nice to share a few photos with you all. I promise to update these - and, tell you what everything is - when everything I just spoke about is finished too. However, for us - who have seen this building turn from old offices, to an empty shell and rubble, to our wonderful showroom - this is enough. This is fantastic!
