Pinterest: Turketel Kitchen
Oozing with style, character and artfulness, it’s no wonder our Turketel kitchen is being re-pinned by interior lovers on Pinterest. Taking pride of place within a stunning Victorian Mansion, this quirky living-space is home to statements aplenty.
Firstly, let’s take a look at the cabinetry. Isn’t it beautiful?
Our customers opted for a custom-made, thoroughly bespoke, Beaded-Shaker - complimenting the mansions refined style and adding to the subtle luxurious feel. The kitchen is brought to life with injections of personality and wonderfully contrasting colour combinations. Farrow and Ball’s light and pretty Parma Gray is a much softer choice compared to the beautiful boldness of the Stiffkey Blue island - however, each work together brilliantly; adding depth to room and bringing oodles of vibrancy!
A favourite feature of mine is the book storage that’s been cleverly handcrafted into the island. Easily accessible cook books that aren’t collecting dust at the back of a cupboard - hooray! The rich walnut interiors perfectly match the dark herringbone flooring - and, speaking of flooring - we absolutely love the striking star patterned tiles. Don’t you? The two fabulous floor choices zone the living-space and enhance the overall eclectic charm of the room!
The Perrin & Rowe tap, with the Aged Brass finish, is a super sleek choice - as are the Armac Martin handles. We’re a huge fan of Armac Martin. Their quality and feel – and their final touch to the finish of the cabinetry – makes them quite a worthwhile investment. Even better, they are designed and made in the UK. Something we like to encourage!
Antique mirrored glass is a beautiful, stylish addition to a bespoke kitchen and turns a simple splashback into an elegant, eye-catching feature. With its ability to work well in both traditional and contemporary kitchens, and helping to hide splash-marks , antique mirrored glass is a popular, practical and very pretty choice. It perfectly suits our Turketel kitchen and really does highlight the Steel range cooker.
A fantastic focal point.
There are so many other elements to this kitchen that are deserving of a mention. The island stalls add a subtle hint of industrial/urban vibes - and, the copper and brass accents bring warmth to the room. Our customers certainly weren’t afraid to mix up their themes a little - it definitely works.
Our Turketel kitchen is a fun living-space with a beautiful balance of tradition, styles and ‘bespokeness!’
